For less than 1kg and more than 7 hours battery, it’s an elegant and powerful machine. One of the major faults is the touchpad-based movement and the 1024 x 600 screen, have a high-reflective coating which can make it tricky to use in brighter conditions. 4. Asus Eee PC 1005PE: Price: $330

6. HP Mini 210-1040NR: Price: $322
HP has made various attempts at capturing the netbook market, and it confirms it with this latest edition of its netbook range. It’s powerful and has the same characteristics than other machines (Intel Atom N450, 1GB DDR2, 160GB hard drive, 10.1” Diagonal WSVGA LED HP) and there are plenty of features to make working with the machine that much easier like the lots of options, including touchscreen display, a good keyboard and touch-pad and so on.
There are a few downsides too, most notably the screen can’t be orientated much beyond the vertical, a limited resolution and expensive comparing with others. Still, it’s an impressive machine, the design of the HP Mini 210-1040NR is great for business users and the price of HP Mini 210 is $322.
7. Asus Eee PC 1015PN: Price: $430
The Asus Eee PC 1015PN is a netbook that manages to stand out from the competition on several points. First, we find the new Nvidia’s technology Optimus with better graphics characteristics, the processor is a new model Intel Atom Dual Core N550 compatible with DDR3 memory type. In practice, it should offer slightly better performances than Atom N450, its flat coating, this netbook also features a matte tile, nice for use outdoors or in bright.

It follows the same tried-and-true netbook formula, with an Intel Atom N450 (1.66 GHz), a 10.1″ WSVGA LED with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel, 1024 MB RAM, 160 GB hard drive, an Ethernet network, a WiFi wireless network and Card Reader 7 in 1. Designed closely after its higher-class brother, the 1005PE, the 1001P offers many of the same features, minus the Chiclet-style keyboard, larger battery and larger hard drive. But one of the important difference is the cheaper price, it allows the netbook easily seduce and be sold better than his big brothers and its price tag is $300.
9. Asus Eee PC 1015PEM: Price: $ 369
The Asus 1015PEM also has 1GB of DDR3 RAM (2GB max), supported by a chipset Intel GMA 3150 (384MB shared memory) and shipping Windows 7 Starter Edition broadcast on a screen of 10.1 inch resolution 1.024×600 pixels. It would be a good Christmas present for professionals and beginners computing with its simplicity of use and the options available under its Windows 7 and price of Acer AO533 is just $272 at Amazon.
