Dell’s backbone to its netbook line, the Inspiron Mini 10, looks to be bringing the next generation of mobile internet to everyday users.  There were hints that one day it would have WiMAX thanks to records at the FCC.  Now, plans to attach that modem to an actual network have come out.  The news came via CTIA and from wireless internet provider Clearwire, which will be providing a 4G-capable version of the Mini 10s for $249 starting on April 1st.

What is unusual is that Clearwire will only be offering it “through select Clear retail locations, telesales and Clear.com.”  This makes the program sound a bit experimental, and it’s hard to see what the company has up its sleeve.

This news shows we are essentially beginning the 4G era.  With all the tablets and the iPad offering only 3G modems and SIMs, it is interesting to wonder how long they will run without upgrading or risk becoming obsolete.  Sprint has been advertising 4G for sometime, and is already putting out phones capable of utilizing it.  A netbook on a 4G network might be able to survive the latest tablet storm, thanks to peoples’ insatiable desire for speed.

Today, i decided to share weekly netbook reviews roundups and from now on i will try to make it regularly. And first roundup is Dell Inspiron Mini 9. Without any further ado, here is the first review of dell mini 9 from the internet.

1) PcMag.com Dell Inspiron Mini 9 Review

The Mini 9 is similar in build to its peers. It measures 6.8 by 9.2 by 1 inches, a bit bigger than the ASUS EeePC 900 (6.6 by 8.7 by 0.8 inches) but more compact than the Acer Aspire One (6.7 by 9.7 by 1 inches). Its 2.3-pound frame is in line with the other UMPCs. The MSI Wind is slightly heavier because of its 10-inch screen, while the HP 2133 Mini-Note’s 3.2-pound weight can be attributed to a bigger battery and a glass screen.

Yesterday, new photos of Dell Adamo’s are leak out. As i wrote before about Adamo, it is thought that will be the slimmest netbook of the world. It will be just 9.9 mm and here is some new photos of Adamo.

I cannot remember when i first time wrote about Dell Inspiration Mini Nickelodeon, but now it is available on sale. Dell eventually make it available on the markets. If you want to buy it, you can buy it from Dell’s site. In addition, let’s remember some features of Dell Mini Nickelodeon.

It comes with two processor option: Intel Atom N270 or N280. Although, less than 3 weeks before release of Windows 7, it comes with Windows XP SP3. Dell Nickelodeon has 10,1 inches display with 1024×600 pixels. Also, it has 1 GB of RAM and 160 GB hard drive.

This is the best time for a teaser campaign for a netbook and what Dell is doing it well. Dell’s press release is also very terse and teasing. They have just told us the name of netbook: Adamo which is originated from Latin and means is that “fall in love with”. I think Dell will try to say  us by naming his netbook by Adamo, You will fall in love with Adamo.

The only think that we know about Adamo XPS is the slimness of it. There is no word on price, date to availability or technical features. But, it is extremly slim, just 9.9 mm, which is more slim than the Sony’s last netbook Vaio X.

Now, we can only wait to see it and let’s see can it make us fall in love with himself or not?
