Asus has officially announced the Eee PC 1201N netbook. This 12.1-inch netbook is powered by a dual-core 1.6GHz 330 Atom processor, Nvidia ION graphics and Windows 7 Home Premium. The 1201N will sell for $499 ( in black and white) when it launches in the middle of December.

I own an Asus Eee and an acer netbook but i often use the Asus Eee because it is so much lighter and easily fits in my small bag.

Asus Eee is not only portable, it is also one of the most affordable netbooks you can buy. Asus is also a good brand which means quality and reliabilty.
I got this for Christmas, its SO cool bc you can upgrade the ram to a 2.0gig which makes it a lot faster. Only downside is that the audio jack DOES NOT WORK ALL THE TIME. it is very irritating and the only way i can make it to work for about a week consecutively is to do a system restore. Please do something about it asus!
