Netbook vs Laptop? This is the question everyone try to solve. Nowadays, if people who are considering to buy a new laptop, will be confused by choosing a netbook or laptop. Actually, this question has a simple answer according to how will you use it. As you know there are some differences between a netbook a laptop. And let’s look at some of them.

Screen Size

Basically netbooks have smaller screen size than laptops. Today, an average netbook has 10 inch display and it ranges from 8 to 12 inches. On the other hand, laptops have bigger screens.

Battery Life

Netbooks have more long battery life than general laptops. For instance, recently Nokia introduced a netbook (Booklet 3G) whose battery last up to 12 hours. But you cannot find a laptop which has a battery life close to a netbook.

Cost

The most netbooks are $300-500. If you are more likely to buy a cheaper notebook, you can choose a buying a netbook; however, you will pay more for a laptop.

Usability

We said netbooks are cheaper than laptops, however you should consider that you cannot use a netbook instead of a place where you use a laptop. Which means you cannot use a Photoshop on a netbook, you have to buy a laptop for those kind of programs.

Mobility

As you can realize netbooks are very small you can carry them where ever you like. Also netbooks are very light, they weighs generally 1 or 1,5 kg.

Keyboard Comfort

Because of the their size, netbooks have small keyboards and which make them less comfortable than laptops. But, you do have to take into consideration a netbook’s general comfort especially to easy-carry-use of netbooks.
