Although, i made the netbook definition before, Oxford Dictionary made its official definition and put the word: netbook in its new release.
And here is the netbook definition from Oxford Dictionary, “a small laptop computer designed primarily for accessing Internet-based applications“. Yes, it is clear that there are some shortcomings in this definition but we may agree that this definition is fine for the general understanding of what is netbook.
Additionally, what exactly is called a netbook is still very controlversial issue, since some people limit the netbook size with just 10 inches and some want to increase the size range to 12 inch.
And the last thing i wanna say is one of the words that is added to the Oxford Dictionary except from netbook is vuvuzela. The definition of the vuvuzela is “the horn instrument which became the sound of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa“. It’s funny:)
